Scott Morris was born in Long Beach, California and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. His academic journey and professional career reflect a lifelong commitment to service, leadership, and helping others overcome setbacks caused by circumstances beyond their control.
Scott graduated from Faith Lutheran High School and went on to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied Business Administration. During his time at Morehouse, Scott distinguished himself academically and was selected to represent the college alongside a small group of top business students in international programs hosted at Fortune 500 companies in Casablanca, Morocco; Istanbul, Turkey; and Paris, France. He graduated in 2011 with Magna Cum Laude honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
After college, Scott committed himself to giving back through Teach for America, where he taught High School Algebra I/II and Special Education in Phoenix, Arizona. His experience in the classroom highlighted how legal systems and policies directly affect people’s daily lives, access to opportunity, and long-term well-being. This realization led him to pursue a legal career focused on advocacy and accountability.
Scott earned his Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, where he received a Public Interest Scholarship in recognition of his academic performance and commitment to service. While in law school, Scott was elected President of the Black Law Students Association, leading the chapter to local, regional, and national recognition. He was also selected by his peers to serve as Commencement Speaker for the Class of 2016.
Following law school, Scott completed a clerkship with the Clark County District Court, working on guardianship, probate, and family law matters. Many of these cases involved underlying personal injury issues, which further shaped his interest in representing individuals harmed by negligence.
Scott later worked at one of the largest personal injury firms in Las Vegas, where he handled cases involving serious injuries and wrongful death. After gaining extensive courtroom and litigation experience, he founded Morris Injury Law, and later expanded his practice to include HotelInjuryLawyers.com, a platform dedicated to representing hotel and resort injury victims.
Scott believes that life is precious and that people deserve strong legal representation when accidents and setbacks occur. He is driven by a desire to help clients move forward, protect their futures, and regain stability after preventable harm.
